potential strike. both contracts within five labor unions and and sunday night. this'll be the first barge strike in 16 years. the two sides remained at odds over issues including benefits, pay and safety concerns. the couple of people that we spoke with are all on the same page saying get a deal and get this done. >> this is going to be chaos. >> a lot of people work out here in san francisco. it is impacting the kids, everybody. >> i have not made a contingency plan. it is about $30 a day to park and that is a factor. i don't know what i'm going to do. >> at the two sides cannot reach an agreement by sunday night, bart officials say

prop 8 supporters were not able to show how they were harmed by same-sex marriage. this means gay marriage is expected to resume in california in 25 days. the supreme court did not make a broad ruling about whether banning same-sex marriage is constitutional that could have a more wide-ranging impact across the country. >> there is a huge turnout for the celebrations san francisco's castro district last night. the rally was organized by college and advocacy group including marriage the quality u.s. a, mars for equality and unite hear local to. this week and the biggest gay pride celebration and the country is happening in san francisco. large crowds are expected to come out and celebrate. the today's celebration will take place at san francisco's civic center plaza. the big parade is set for sunday. >> investment banking firm

police are on the scene of a deadly shooting at 98 and international boulevard. jackie sissel just arrived on the same. >> i am on a street right off of 98th avenue and you can see homicide detectives have just arrived here on scene. we do not have a lot of information, we are waiting for an update from the oakland police department. around 530 this morningghbors reported hearing multiple gunshots. when they came out, they discovered the body of an adult male who had been shot multiple times. there is a bicycle on one side and the body is on the other side. you can see mobil evidence seemed markers here, at least 12 of them. presumably those are showcasing. there are about a dozen of them on the street. what we do know is that one person has been killed out here, shot multiple times on a street.

that update. we also want to update you on the the historic day yesterday at the supreme court. it was a historic day for the supreme court yesterday as they struck down prop 8 and the defense of marriage act. this prop 8 decision is the ruling that most legal experts predicted. the supreme court cleared the way for same sex marriage to resume in california in a 4 to 5 decision. the majority of the justices said that supporters of prop 8 did not have the right to appeal a lower courts ruling. they also said the majority of prop 8 supporters were not able to show how they were harmed by same sex marriage. this means gay marriage is expected to resume in california in 25 days. the supreme court did not make a broad ruling about whether banning same sex marriage is constitutional. that could have had a more wide ranging impact across the country. there was a huge turnout for
